Its Been A While

I’ve not had much time lately so its been a while since my last post. Never mind, I’m here now.

I have done a little more work on my website AffiliateGrapevine.com, added a couple of items and a subscription box. I’m offering 10 e-books and 10 articles with private label and master resale rights, a good offer methinks. Now I just need some traffic. I’m not doing too bad on that front, though I think I’m going buy the Google Traffic Pump System just as soon as I can afford it.

For now though I’ll tell you about my new turnkey package from Clickbank Pirate. Turnkey Twitter. Read the free report here to find out how to turn your Twitter account into a viral cash machine. I’ve been using Twitter for a while now, I have lots of followers but I’m still not quite getting the results that I need. Not really had time yet but I’m going to have a good read through the report myself soon to get things moving a bit faster. I’ll be putting it on my site soon so there will be a bit more information on there.

Well busy man that I am, I’ll have to leave you now. Keep working hard and I hope you are making lots of money.

Paul

I’ve Done It

I’ve done it, I’ve just launched my first website. AffiliateGrapevine.com It was quite a learning curve for me and it’s still not finished but, I thought I may as well get it out there and I can keep working on it.

I’m looking for an autoresponder service at the moment, I want to get a sign up form on there. Thing is I don’t want to pay for one just yet, truth is I just can’t afford it yet. I think I have found one, I’ll tell you a little more about it when I’ve got it sorted but it will do for now. They let you have up to 500 subscribers for free. That should keep me going until I can pay for a better service.

Anyway take a look at it and let me know what you think. But remember, it needs a lot more work yet.

Keep working hard folks.

Getting Things Moving

After a bit of a slump last week I’m starting to get things moving again. I have managed to get one article published, here (still waiting to here about others), I’ve got a couple of videos on You Tube, see my channel here. Joining MustHaveAds was one of the best things I’ve done for some time, I’m getting lots of hits from there. I can use my account to cloak my links and I’m generating a lot of interest in the site itself. Also, I feel I’ve been waiting so long for Squidoo to approve and publish my lens I’ve actually started to build my own website. AffiliateGrapevine.com (don’t bother looking for it there is nothing there yet) I’ll let you know when it’s up and running.

I can find my way around a computer but I’m not the most tech savvy person, luckily I’ve found a really good hosting account. It costs me just a few dollars each month (or pounds to me, I’m in England), I get a .com address included in that price and I’ve already received more in Google AdWords vouchers than I have paid for hosting. They have easy site builders and templates so I should be launching my site pretty soon. I’m hosting it with Just Host, you may have seen ads for it in traffic exchanges. I had a couple of problems getting started but they answered my support tickets very quickly so I’m pleased with them so far.

Even with the help of a good hosting account building a site when you don’t know what you are doing is not an easy task. I’m hoping like the whole internet marketing thing it will get easier as time goes on, I learn quickly but I’m still keeping my fingers crossed.

If you are feeling generous, take at look at my You Tube channel (hear my thick Lancashire accent, do I really sound like that?) have a look at my lonely single article and bookmark them if you would, give them a good rating whatever you can, I need all the help I can get. Let me know your links and sites and I’ll gladly do the same for you.

Until next time, keep working hard and I wish you all the success you can handle.

Ups And Downs

I’ve been getting a little fed up this week, I seem to have hit a brick wall. All I’m doing at the moment is waiting. I’m still waiting for Squidoo to approve my lens, it set off the spam filters because I mentioned Clickbank Pirate, I have submitted it for approval but it could take up to thirty days. I’m waiting for some articles to be published, they need approval too. This is much harder work that I was expecting, not that I thought it would be plain sailing just it starts to wind me up sometimes. I am perking up again now though, the weekend is almost upon us.

I have found something very interesting this week, just yesterday in fact. I was looking through some safelist e-mails when I found a new free advertising board. Of course you can upgrade to paid membership for better service but you can post ads for free too. Now I don’t usually pay any attention to these one time only offers but this one made me think again and I went for it. A lifetime pro account will set you back only $10 but this site has just launched recently so they are making a very good offer. I paid $15 and got my lifetime membership plus over $200 of free advertising. I can now post ten ads every day and they will stay up for two weeks. I can’t remember how many ads free accounts get but I think they last for just a few days. You get lots of other goodies in the offer of course, 10,000 banner impressions, a free premium ad that usually sells for $7/ week, hotlinks and much more, can’t remember them all. Whats more when someone signs up with your link, pays the $10 for a pro account, you get $10 commission (about $2.50 for free accounts). With this site being fairly new I highly recommend joining up now and getting your link. The site is run by one of the top safelist companies and is growing at an astonishing pace. I don’t know about you but I want a piece of that pie. You should at least take a look and see for yourself. Let me know what you think.

Well I actually feel a little better now. It’s hard to know what to write here sometimes but once I get going I quite enjoy myself. I’ll keep on telling you what I’m up to, (whether you want to here it or not) I just hope you keep on reading.

ps. I forgot to tell you, when you sign up to Must Have Ads you can also sign up to a site called CBTopsites where you can get a free Clickbank Mall.

New Turnkey Package

I’ve got my new turnkey package from CB Pirate, it’s called Profit Miracle. I have read through the free report and can tell you this one is about article marketing. It tells of how some marketing newbie made over $35,000 in two weeks. Get the free report. Now I want some of that.

I’ve been meaning to look into article marketing for some time now, it is supposed to be an excellent strategy. Once you publish an article you can just forget about it as it continues to bring in the cash. The key thing with articles is to make sure you have original content, this is where Profit Miracle comes in. It has software programs that spin your articles, for example, I could take one of the pre-written articles in my turnkey packages and spin it enough to make it original, then post it as my own work. This is obviously much less time consuming than researching a subject and then writing your own article, that is if you are capable of writing a good quality piece that will hold the readers interest. I’m not so sure I could do that, it’s a little different to just writing a blog. If you can do this once, you can do it a number of times with the same article, each time getting an original piece.

Well I’m not sure I have the time but I really want to start publishing articles now. I’ll fit it in somewhere. If you have published some already or you are going to, let us know how things go. When I publish some myself I’ll put the links here for you. However you do it, I hope things go well for you.

Too easily distracted.

I know that I’m too easily distracted, I set out to do one thing and end up doing about five others. On top of that either I’m a bit numb or this is hard work (a little of both I think). I’m still working on my Squidoo lens, it should have been finished ages ago but its harder than I thought. It really makes me appreciate what a simple interface this blog is. I’ve had to learn some basic html, its easy enough to find the information out there but that’s when I get distracted. I’ll spot something interesting and start looking into that only to go back to creating my lens a couple of hours later. I really must get it together and work on one thing at a time (he says as he writes a blog post and really should be working on his lens).

I’ve just joined PLR Wholesaler. This is a fantastic site, you get private and master resale rights to literally thousands of products, all for free. But when I’m supposed to be doing something else I’ve been looking into setting up my own web pages to offer these products out. With my free membership I have access to hundreds of articles, viral e-books, video tutorials and all sorts of stuff. All of which I can give away or even sell in some form or another. I’m getting slightly overwhelmed again. I am still just about managing the rest of my traffic generation, I like to get those out of the way early on then I can (supposedly) concentrate on generating traffic in other ways. Today for instance, I started out surfing a couple of traffic exchanges to get a few credits, then scheduled some tweets for the next day or so, opened up my Squidoo lens and promptly started to read several e-books and articles from PLR Wholesaler. Get it together man, concentrate.

Oh well, that’s my rant over with for today, back to Squidoo. My lens is going to be published this week.

Where are we now?

I’d just like to make a review of what and where I’m up to at the moment.

So lets see. Its been around three months now that I’ve been doing this. That is;

using the Clickbank Pirate System.

I think I’ve been doing ok with this, (though I’m still skint) I have managed to get quite a few conversions, I’m sending lots of traffic to my squeeze pages, its just a matter of time now until I get that first sale (I hope). The key thing is that I have got a good few members on my list now and they do say the money is in the list. Of all the free reports I give away the most popular are Free Web Tools & Become A Blogger I have made conversions with almost all of my turnkey packages now but these two are the best performers.

The Free & Powerful System.

I like this one, there are several different income streams with it including GDI you may have seen this in traffic exchanges, it pops up quite often and though it costs me $10/ month (that’s just for GDI the F&P System is Free) I really think it will be worth it in the long run. The residual earnings potential is amazing and I know it probably takes the top earners years of hard work to make it but I’m not doing anything else. I have managed to get a couple of referrals with this but not really made any money yet, other than the $50 they gave to me for signing up.

Acme People Search.

I must admit I’ve let this one slide. This Free People Search Engine was originally promoted with Free & Powerful but they changed things a few days after I joined so, though I am still a member and can still earn with it (in fact I still have the $125 sign up bonus in my account), I haven’t really promoted it, I decided to stick with F&P. I’ve not given up on it yet but I have enough to do at the moment, I’ll go back to it later.

Traffic Generation

Traffic Exchanges. I do just like to sit and surf sometimes but these days all I really do with these is keep my accounts active. I’ll spend just a little time each week changing ads around, building up a few credits, just try and keep my ads in view. I do occasionally go for it and surf a couple of hundred pages. The best way to make exchanges work, I think, is to build your downlines. I do this by promoting TrafficHoopla. TrafficHoopla is known and trusted as the authority on all web traffic. They regularly review their lists of top performing exchanges and safelists. Which brings usnicely onto safelist advertising. I try to use these a few times a week. As a free member you are only allowed to use their mailer a limited number of times each week. I’m a free member of about five sites but I took the lifetime membership to Safelist Blazer for just $50, I can therefore use this to e-mail over two thousand people up to twelve times every day. The best way to use these is supposedly solo ads. Solo ads do cost a little extra, I don’t think its much but I haven’t tried them yet. Twitter is one of my favourites (he says, I haven’t tweeted for a few days now). I’m a free member of Social Oomph which is a tweet scheduler, there is more to it than that but automating my tweets is why I use it. As a free member I have to line up each tweet and set a time for it to be published so it is still quite time consuming, that’s why I’m not tweeting all of the time. But hey, I can’t afford to pay for it yet and well I shouldn’t be so greedy and just set up a few tweets each day. The new one for me is Squidoo. I have joined but haven’t finished setting up my first lens yet, I’ll let you know when I do. I have however had a good look around, read a few lenses and can report that I like it. My next job today is to get to work on my lens (when I have finished writing what is turning into an epic blog post). Then of course there is this blog. For those of you that don’t know I post an almost identical blog here. I don’t think this helps traffic but, I started with my CB Pirate blog then found I really prefer Blogspot (there are more toys to play with). It really doesn’t matter which you prefer reading they are pretty much the same.

Me.

I think I’m some kind of bi-polar affiliate, half the time I’m motivated and confident, I know I’m going to make it, the other half I get a little disheartened, start thinking this is costing me money that I don’t really have, should I just give up and get a proper job? For the time being I’ll continue and see how things go, plodding along at my own pace and see where I get to.

Well I think that will do for today, I’m sure you are already fed up and want to move on to another page now. Good luck with your marketing and keep at it as I am. Whether you are new to this too or you are a seasoned pro, if you are confident or like me you are prone to moments of doubt, why not leave a comment. I’m sure that together we can get to the top. I’d like to be able to say I knew you before you were a super affiliate.

The new fad.

I’ve always been one for fads and phases, even here with internet marketing I’m going through lots of phases with traffic generation. First it was safelists and traffic exchanges, then promoting traffic exchanges through TrafficHoopla, then onto Twitter and now I’ve found a new one…. Squidoo.

I have heard of this before but I’ve never really paid much attention to it, I should have. Just looking around it last night I found lots of interesting and useful stuff. Its quite similar to a blog really, only for me at least a blog is more personal. I know some marketers out there use a blog as just another page on which to advertise, copying and pasting and filling with ads. Now don’t get me wrong, I do want you to click my links and read the free reports I’m offering, I even have one about making money with a blog here, maybe even buy a product through one of my links (somebody is going to make money from it, why not me? That’s what affiliate marketing is all about after all). But I’d rather you did it because you want to, because you can trust that I am being honest not because you were hounded into doing it by some enormous sales letter.

Anyway back to Squidoo. As I said similar to a blog but these pages or lenses as they are called can be more of a sales pitch. You can easily fill them with text and images and videos and all of your links and whats more you can create as many lenses as you want. You can create one to cover all aspects and then many others to focus on each of your affiliate programs or whatever else you care to promote. Within reason of course.

I’m rabbiting on about this and in my honest way I’ll have to tell you I haven’t set any lenses up yet. That’s the task for this afternoon. I will let you know how things go and provide links to my pages (if everything goes according to plan).

Who knows?… one day, when I have gone through a few more fads, I may get all the traffic I’ve ever wanted. Until then I’ll keep on top of my traffic generating methods, keep finding new ones and I hope you can do the same.

Paul

Happy New Year.

Happy new year folks, it’s nice to get back to it (sort of). It’s snowing here and it’s another of those days when I’m glad I didn’t have to dig the car out and fight the traffic to get to work, no I went via the kettle and straight on to my spare room.

Well I don’t know about you but I’m feeling suitably fat and still a little dazed. I’m going to make use of some of the products that I’m promoting myself to get  back into the right gear. I’ve got The Fat Burning Furnace (I really need this one at the moment) and Are Your Genetics Keeping You Fat? (sounds good for an excuse at least). Much as I’d like to do it all on the Wii Fit that I got for Christmas, I know that it’s going to take a bit more work than that and I need all the help I can get. The Free Reports are good, they should be enough to get me going but it’s no good sitting at this desk all day.

If you are presently in the same boat as me then take a look at the Free Reports, let me know what you think. If you know of any other good ones tell me. I think I may go and look for a good dieting blog see what I can find. (Just another excuse not to start exercising. Is it just me struggling to get motivated?)

Ok, come on people, lets get shifting that weight.

Happy Christmas.

Sorry folks, I’ve neglected my blog for a couple of weeks now, I really have been busy. I have had some proper work to do and of course lots of Christmas shopping. Well anyway I think I’m ready for it now, it’s a first for me being ready before Christmas Eve.

Over the past couple of weeks, along with everything else I have mostly been using Twitter to promote CB Pirate and Free & Powerful amongst other things. I have managed to get a few people sign up in my F&P downline, (they need to be there for an allotted time and then I will earn my referral bonuses) I have got some more sign up under CB Pirate and my TrafficHoopla downline has gone from zero to five members, which means my traffic exchange downlines are starting to grow too. I am starting to earn credits when people join my downlines, if I was a paid member I could also be earning some cash. (I don’t think it’s quite cost effective yet but I’m keeping my eye on things.)

It would be impossible for me to keep on top of this without Social Oomph, formerly Tweet Later. It’s a great free to join site (I’m seriously thinking of upgrading to paid membership, I could get even better results for less than half the work), where you can cue up Tweets to send out at any time. So I have been spending all of my spare time on there setting up full days. (I wouldn’t need to do that if I pay) It’s best to have a lot of Tweets ready, you could write them as you go but I find it takes much longer, especially as you will want to save them all to use again. Not too often though or you will get your account suspended.

Well this was probably my last post for this year, from tomorrow onwards I will be eating, drinking and being merry for a week or so. Have a great Christmas and I hope you make shed loads of money in 2010. If for whatever reason you are not into Christmas, then just have a really great time and still make lots of money next year.

Paul.
